​Vaccination against COVID-19 reduces the risk of severe illness and death and is a key to combating the pandemic. The Legco Members Ir Hon Gary ZHANG, City Professional Management Limited and Pumen Foundation Limited co-organized the Tin Shui Wai Vaccination Day on Apr 7 at the outdoor playground of Grandeur Terrace, where over 100 Local Residents and stakeholders signed up to receive the SINOVAC vaccine administered by the EC Healthcare via the Government’s outreach vaccination service. Furthermore, Voluntary healthcare workers were on the spot to answer questions from the elderly.

Grandeur Terrace is committed to joining hands with various parties to fight the virus and has provided assistance in many ways. Data reveals that vaccination is the most effective way to reduce the risk of serious illness and death. Grandeur Terrace has therefore provided space in the playground for free to set up mobile vaccination clinics for the convenience of the public, particularly the elderly and children. This venue is conveniently located with good transport networks. We hope that the Vaccination Day will attract more people in Tin Shui Wai District and Yuen Long District to get the jab, which will help Hong Kong overcome the pandemic and bring the city back to normality as soon as possible.”
